United in Giving: HRlogics' Collective Impact this Holiday Season

Melissa Morse • December 21, 2023

As we embrace the festive spirit and reflect on the true meaning of the holidays, we take a moment to share the warmth and goodwill that has been at our company's heart this season. While we point to our specific initiatives, it's crucial to acknowledge the collective impact we, as a society, can all make when we come together to support those in need.

In the spirit of gratitude and giving back, we'd like to share some of the meaningful initiatives our company has undertaken this holiday season. We are incredibly proud of our team’s collective efforts to make a positive difference in the lives of others. From our headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama, to our office in Nashville, Tennessee, and through our remote employees across the country,
HRlogics is committed to giving back and spreading cheer.

“I have always held a deep belief in the power of giving back, and it's gratifying to see this value become a fundamental pillar of our organization,” says
HRlogics’ CEO, Shannon Scott. “The unwavering dedication our team has demonstrated in positively impacting local communities fills me with immense pride.”

Birmingham HQ Gives Back to the Community

Our corporate headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama kicked off the holiday season with a Pantry Restock drive that encouraged employees to donate canned and dried foods to the local Leaf Food Pantry. Employees were also given the option to volunteer at the food pantry with tasks like organizing donations, conducting simple pantry maintenance, etc.

“This was a fantastic chance for us to make a positive impact in our community,” says our Chief Human Resources Officer,
Monica Manning. “Not only does volunteering offer a rewarding experience, but it also allows us to contribute meaningfully to the lives of those who may be experiencing hardships.”

The Birmingham office also kicked off its first annual
Toys for Tots Toy Drive, collecting toys across its offices in the Birmingham area. “Toys for Tots is a fantastic initiative that brings happiness to less fortunate children by providing them with toys during the holiday season,” says Manning. “While we’re still in the process of collecting donations, our staff has contributed a variety of toys for children of all ages for this heartwarming cause.”

“We believe in giving back to our community, and this is a perfect way for us to come together and make a positive impact,” Manning adds. “Big or small, every contribution matters and will bring smiles to the faces of those who need it most.”

Tennessee Spreads Cheer Through Local Children’s Hospital

Beyond our corporate HQ, HRlogics’ commitment to giving back extends nationwide — with our Nashville, Tennessee location recently donating $1,500 to the Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville through their Jingle Toy Drive

“Our Nashville team was moved by the Birmingham office’s toy drive initiative, so we chose a local cause that is near to our hearts,” says Josh Kendall, Chief Operating Officer of HRlogics  UCM. “Everyone in Nashville was excited to contribute, as well as the HRlogics UCM (formerly Unemployment Tracker) team, historically based in Michigan.”

“Our team's dedication is a testament to the transformative power of unity and the shared values that define HRlogics’ culture,” adds Manning. “Their commitment not only warms our hearts but also exemplifies the true spirit of giving, fostering a positive impact within and beyond our organization.”
